Seasons Ecology is offering a Seasonal Assistant Ecologist position from May to October 2024, where you can play a meaningful role in supporting planning applications, building repairs, and conservation projects, with a specific emphasis on promoting the conservation and enhancement of bat habitats.

Your primary focus will be to support a variety of planning applications and conservation projects, aiding clients in obtaining necessary consents while ensuring strict legal compliance. By actively participating in bat surveys, data analysis, and reporting, you’ll help to inform decision-making processes and facilitates the integration of ecological considerations into projects. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, gaining valuable experience in different ecological settings.

This dynamic position involves irregular work patterns, including night shifts integral to bat surveys . Your ability to flexibly adjust to the demands of the job, coupled with a proactive mindset, will be essential for meeting the challenges posed by weather conditions and varying project requirements.
