Rich is an established member of the team, leading our bat survey work and managing a range of bat‑related projects, supported by his Natural England Level 2 Bat Survey Class Licence (CL18). He has strong field skills across dormouse and reptile surveys and undertakes Ecological Clerk of Works roles. Rich prepares technical reports to inform planning applications, discharge planning conditions, and support mitigation licences or precautionary, non‑licensed approaches. Rich also leads our practical habitat management services, drawing on over 15 years’ countryside‑management and landscaping experience, alongside a degree in Environmental and Conservation Biology.  He is an Associate Member of CIEEM, reflecting his experience and professionalism. He is based in our Tonedale office.
