Are you looking to gain paid experience in the field of ecology?

Seasons Ecology is seeking suitable candidates to assist with a range of surveys (but largely great crested newt and bat surveys) across the UK with potential opportunities to help with office-based tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to gain training and work alongside other ecologists to help further your career in the ecology sector.

We’re looking for enthusiastic, reliable and hard-working people willing to travel and happy working unsociable hours. Suitable candidates will have a keen interest in ecology, excellent time keeping, a UK driving licence and their own vehicle.  Experience in undertaking newt and bat surveys will be of interest, but is not essential.

We are interested in candidates from across the UK, but geographical areas of particular interest this season are the West Country, the Home Counties, Shropshire and North Wales.

These positions are home based and on a Zero Hours contract basis. Hourly rates will be agreed with successful candidates depending on experience.

Previous employees who have taken on these roles with Seasons Ecology have been provided with positive references from our Partners and many are now employed fulltime for ecological consultancies across the country.
